Role Overview
The Senior CAD Technician will produce complex structural drawings and detailed plans for RCC and steel structures.
The role supports structural design documentation and includes review and guidance of junior draftsmen.
Responsibilities
- Produce complex structural drawings and detailed plans using CAD software.
- Apply structural drafting techniques, symbols, and conventions.
- Maintain design drawing and project documentation records.
- Manage drawing logs, revision histories, and digital files.
- Review junior draftsmen's drawings for accuracy, completeness, and code compliance.
- Ensure drawings are clear, organized, and error-free.
- Assist and train junior draftsmen with technical drafting problems.
- Communicate with architects and engineers and incorporate project information.
- Complete drafting work under engineer or team lead instruction within given timeframes.
- Follow specifications to create technical drawings.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software.
- Experience with RCC and steel structures is required.
- American and European project experience is required.
- Proficiency in structural drafting techniques, symbols, and conventions.
- Experience with structural analysis and design software and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Compensation
- Pay is ₹65,000–₹75,000 per month.
