About the Role
We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic Senior CAD Technician to join the ‘UK iCRC Roads team in Bengaluru/Noida to work alongside our UK discipline. The successful candidate will be working in a team environment to develop and deliver projects through various stages of design from feasibility to planning/detailed design and onto construction.

Responsibilities
- Ability to utilise AutoCAD or MicroStation in adherence to defined CAD standards to develop layouts, labelling, dimensioning, sheet layout, design details and other appropriate design concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models to assist with investigations of engineering problems.
- Proven ability to work up drawings (plans, sections & details) from Engineers basic sketches to full working drawings
- Ability to liaise with the design teams as necessary to coordinate design and drawing production.
- Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with the ability to accurately predict the time required to fulfil the individual scopes of work required.
- Assists with establishing, maintaining and enforcing the use of proper CAD standards and procedures.
- Undertake reviews of work produced by others to ensure high quality of CAD output.
- UK project experience and working knowledge of UK design standards
- You should be able to demonstrate some experience and working knowledge of relevant technical design guidance and standards, such as DMRB, MfS, TSRGD, HCD, and IAN 184.
- You should be able to understand and communicate BIM and CAD standards for use on Civil engineering projects and possessing an appropriate overall level of knowledge of the UK infrastructure design sector.
- Proficient in use of standard office software
- Experience of supervising and coordinating the CAD output of others within a multi- disciplinary project environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Knowledge of basic design using Civil 3D
- Awareness - Revit Software
- Qualifications
- You will have a ITI or Diploma in Engineering level qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent with 8 to 12 years’+ relevant post-graduate experience
- Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation user certification
- Working towards a recognised Professional Qualification with a recognised institution, such as EngTech.
- BGV:
- Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.
