- Financial markets or HFT exposure
- Ability to debug production issues and explain root cause
- Comfortable owning technical initiatives end to end

What you'll actually be doing

What you need to bring
- 8+ years in C++ (10+ total software dev experience)
- Real scar tissue from high load, low latency systems
- You can talk DSA and design patterns without reaching for a textbook
- Network protocols you actually understand, Websockets/FIX/Kafka is a big plus
- Financial markets or HFT exposure; bonus if you've built trading strategies yourself
- You can debug a production fire at 3 am and explain root cause calmly
- Comfortable owning a technical initiative end to end, spec to deployment
Bonus (not dealbreakers)
- Kernel bypass / DPDK experience
- System level / network performance tuning chops
- Future team lead potential, ideally with experience managing remote devs
