Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop system architectures, network architectures, and supporting infrastructure.
• Design and deliver telephony, radio, broadcast communication, wireless, and operational data network solutions.
• Define requirements, specifications, implementation strategies, and equipment selections.
• Support ICT integration, verification, technical reviews, and programme delivery.
• Develop standards and reference architectures, manage technical interfaces, and provide technical recommendations.
• Coach and mentor less experienced engineers.

Required experience

• Experience across the design and implementation lifecycle of communication and information systems.
• Experience in a regulated, safety-critical, or security-sensitive industry such as nuclear, defence, aerospace, or critical national infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of voice and telephony systems, radio communications, broadcast communications, and data networking.
