We are looking for a Senior C++ Engineer to join our team You will report to the Director of Core Software, Broadband business unit You will be based in Bengaluru, India

The position involves C/C++ and/or python development of next-generation cable industry leading products, services and systems for Harmonic. Successful candidates for this position have experience in the design, development and test of Passive Optical Network (PON) Optical Line Terminal (OLT) access solutions. Candidates will learn and build on experience using advanced C++ and python technologies, containerized solutions (Docker and k8s), Embedded Systems and various networking environments developed to operate within Linux servers using cutting-edge technologies and techniques.

As part of the role, you will be involved in the following areas:

C/C++ and/or python code development of OLT device programming, ONU management & control, and state-of-the-art system orchestration capabilities as part of our R&D team

Investigations and debug of complex issues both from Harmonic QA and Customer Networks

Plan, design, implement, and test within an agile development framework
