Job Overview Summary

  • The Senior Business Development Manager identifies and pursues strategic business opportunities, partnerships, and new markets within the security industry.
  • Develops key relationships, creates business proposals, and executes strategies to expand the company’s reach and revenue.

Strategic Opportunity Identification

  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including partnerships, markets, and product expansion.
  • Evaluate potential business avenues and create plans to target high impact opportunities.

Relationship Development

  • Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for high level client engagements and partnerships.

Proposal & Deal Management

  • Develop tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with major clients.
  • Ensure all business development activities are compliant with company policies and contribute to revenue goals.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct research on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to identify value propositions.
  • Use insights to adapt business strategies and stay ahead of market changes.

Cross functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to align business development strategies.
  • Coordinate with legal and finance teams to ensure alignment on contracts, budgets, and other business aspects.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and report on the success of business development initiatives and partnerships.
  • Use data and feedback to refine strategies and improve results over time.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred); MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.

Pay Transparency Statement

  • Base salary range: $88,700 $187,300 per year.
  • May also be eligible for variable bonus or commission, health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
