About The Role

Alftek International is seeking a results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth within our Recruitment & Staffing division across Qatar and the GCC.

This role focuses on client acquisition, relationship management, and delivering tailored workforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand new business opportunities across Qatar and the GCC within the staffing and recruitment sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR Heads, Hiring Managers, and Procurement teams
  • Understand client hiring needs and deliver tailored workforce solutions (permanent, contract, outsourced)
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while providing market insights to leadership
  • Collaborate with internal recruitment and delivery teams to ensure seamless client servicing
  • Represent Alftek at networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums
  • Track market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing business development team as required

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum 10+ years of GCC experience, including 7+ years in Business Development / Client Acquisition within recruitment/staffing
  • Proven track record of sales closures and revenue growth in Qatar/GCC
  • Strong knowledge of Qatar labor laws, visa processes, and hiring regulations
  • Established professional network across industries: Oil & Gas, Construction, IT, Healthcare, Government
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Currently based in Qatar with a valid residency/work permit (Driving licence preferred)
  • Fluent in English
  • Proven experience managing teams; ability to build and scale teams is highly desirable
  • Existing client portfolio in Qatar/GCC is a strong advantage
