Role Description

  • The Senior Business Development Manager / Business Development Manager is a full time, on site role based in Dubai.
  • This position is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth across target markets.
  • The role includes researching potential clients, preparing and delivering proposals and presentations, negotiating contracts and commercial terms, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions and services.
  • The manager will track market trends and competitor activities, provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports, and contribute to strategic planning and pipeline management.
  • This role also involves attending industry events, representing the company with professionalism, and continuously improving business development processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management roles.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Dubai, with strong knowledge of the local business environment, market dynamics, and client network.
  • Previous experience in a related industry or B2B environment is highly preferred.
  • Candidates without relevant Dubai based business development experience will not be considered.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in a related industry or B2B environment.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long term client relationships and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Solid analytical and strategic thinking skills, including experience with market research, sales forecasting, and pipeline management tools.
  • High level of commercial acumen, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software (e.g., MS Office, presentation tools).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Dubai market practices, customer expectations, and business development processes.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages relevant to regional markets are an asset.
