Role Overview
NIQ is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to accelerate revenue growth through new business acquisition and strategic account expansion.
The role focuses on winning opportunities, building client relationships and closing high-value deals involving data, analytics and insights solutions.
New Business Development
- Identify, target and win new clients across assigned markets and industries.
- Build a sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, social selling and direct outreach.
- Lead the full sales cycle from qualification through proposal, negotiation and contract closure.
- Develop account penetration plans and generate new revenue streams.
- Engage senior stakeholders, including C-suite decision-makers.
Account Growth and Client Development
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients.
- Identify upselling, cross-selling and solution-expansion opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships and become a strategic client partner.
- Align NIQ solutions with client business objectives.
- Drive client retention and long-term revenue growth.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, account growth or commercial roles.
- Proven success in hunting and winning new business.
- Experience in market research, consumer insights, retail measurement, analytics, SaaS, data solutions or related industries.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and senior-level relationship-building ability.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
