The Opportunity
The Senior Business Analyst bridges business needs with technology solutions across an investment management platform.
The role focuses on front- and middle-office workflows and data flows involving Securities Master File and Investment Book of Record data.
The analyst will improve CRIMS user experience through reports, integrations, and workflow optimization.
Work Arrangement
- The role is full-time and hybrid in Toronto, Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, operations, compliance, and external vendors to configure controlled workflows.
- Translate business workflows and data needs into functional specifications and ensure timely delivery of technology solutions.
- Partner with developers, QA teams, and application support to validate SOD, SMF, IBOR, and benchmark-data integrations.
- Act as a CRIMS subject matter expert and occasionally provide Level 2 support to business users.
- Lead requirements gathering, stakeholder walkthroughs, and validation sessions.
- Contribute to business cases and funding requests by defining scope, risks, and benefits.
- Mentor colleagues, share expertise, and build analytical capability across practice communities.
