Compensation
- The stated base pay range is $76,800 to $115,200 CAD per year.
- Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, knowledge, geographic location, and organizational needs.
Requirements and Business Value
- Plan, manage, lead, and oversee the end-to-end requirements process.
- Analyse impacts to customers, colleagues, stakeholders, processes, and technology solutions.
- Validate problem or opportunity statements, business benefits, and success criteria aligned with business OKRs.
- Elicit and document high-quality requirements with end-to-end traceability.
- Own requirements prioritization and manage requirements-related risks and key decisions.
Strategy and Delivery Support
- Understand links between portfolio investment, business and technology strategy, and target state.
- Provide thought leadership and challenge the status quo.
- Support Product Owners with Program Increment Planning, Quarterly Business Reviews, goals, objectives, and success criteria.
- Connect business, technology, and business-technology teams.
- Contribute to sprint goals, velocity targets, requirements quality assessments, and effective delivery.
Collaboration and Leadership
- Partner with change and channel teams to understand impacted-group perspectives, gaps, and resistance points.
- Influence leaders and provide recommendations for informed decisions.
- Support collaboration and relationship management between business and technology teams.
- Cover for Pod members, including Product Owner or Scrum Master roles, during short-term gaps.
- Mentor and guide Junior BAs, BSAs, Pod members, and partners.
- Participate in the Analyst Practice Community of Interest.
Required Experience and Skills
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst delivering large programmes or projects.
- Experience with requirements management, traceability, business benefits, and success criteria.
- Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and SAFe methodologies.
- Strong collaboration, leadership, creative solutioning, critical thinking, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to operate in multiple Pods simultaneously when applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
- CBAP certification is an asset.
- SAFe certification is an asset.
- Deep knowledge of personal banking products and services is helpful.
- Regulatory project experience, including AML or KYC, is an asset.
- Financial institution or banking experience is an asset.
