Compensation

• The salary range is CAD $38.88 to $55.89 per hour.

Role Overview

Technical and Project Support

• Provide consulting support across project development, implementation, and system operations management.
• Support and administer interoperable solutions connecting clinical and business workflows.
• Participate in requirements gathering, specification, development, unit testing, conformance testing, and production deployment.
• Lead small projects and provide project management guidance to Business Analysts.

Business Analysis and Process Improvement

• Lead business process reengineering and document business requirements for informatics services.
• Conduct feasibility studies, determine user requirements, and support process redesign initiatives.
• Perform workflow analysis, develop information requirements and models, and design or modify business processes.
• Diagnose information systems and business issues and support application and process changes.

Operations and Governance

• Develop Service Level Agreements between Informatics and assigned business areas.
• Resolve operational health information systems issues.
• Participate in the development and evaluation of informatics goals, policies, and procedures.
• Participate on internal and external committees and collaborate with the Health Information Systems and Services team.

Education and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Health Information Systems Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, is required.
• Three to five years of recent, related experience in a medium to large-sized organization is required.
• Experience with health and corporate information systems is required.

Professional Capabilities

• Knowledge of health and corporate information systems is required.
• The role requires business process analysis, systems analysis, problem solving, communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Applicants should be able to work independently and collaboratively.

Additional Assets

• Project management best practices, Microsoft BizTalk, .NET Framework, C#, Microsoft SQL, RESTful APIs, web services, IIS, certificates, security practices, infrastructure, and networking are assets.
