Role Overview

  • We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will be the voice of the Client's business requirements within the delivery team. The BA elicits, documents, and manages all functional requirements for system improvements, ensuring that every development sprint begins with formally approved, clearly

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary interface between client stakeholders and the development team for all requirements.
  • Elicit, document, and prioritize functional requirements for system improvements through structured workshops and interviews.
  • Produce formal functional specifications (BRDs, user stories, process flow diagrams) in Arabic before any development sprint.
  • Own and operate the change order process: classify requests, document scope impact, obtain written client approval.
  • Facilitate regular backlog prioritization sessions with client stakeholders.
  • Coordinate UAT: write UAT test scenarios in Arabic, support users, document acceptance formally.
  • Identify integration requirements and map data flows with internal and external systems.
  • Contribute to periodic administrative reports alongside the Project Manager.
  • Maintain the requirements traceability matrix throughout the contract.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Fluent Arabic Speaker is a Must.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of professional business analysis experience.
  • Experience in government IT projects in Saudi Arabia required.

Preferred

  • Experience with document management or correspondence systems beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Saudi DGA e government standards and SDAIA digital transformation policies preferred.

Required Technical Skills

  • Business requirements documentation (BRD, FRD, Functional Requirement Specifications) in Arabic.
  • Process mapping (BPMN swimlane diagrams, workflow analysis, as is/to be state documentation).
  • User story writing and backlog management in Agile context.
  • UML diagrams (use case, activity, sequence diagrams).
  • Stakeholder interview facilitation and requirement workshop design.
  • Government e service process standards (DGA, SDAIA).
  • Enterprise system analysis (.NET web application architecture).
  • Change management documentation (change order templates, scope impact assessment).
  • UAT planning (test scenario design for non technical users).
  • Document management system concepts (ISO 14641).
  • Arabic document production (formal government Arabic).

  • Exceptional Arabic communication (written reports, meeting minutes, functional specifications).
  • Active listening to surface unstated constraints and hidden requirements.
  • Bridge building between technical and business stakeholders.
  • Prioritization and negotiation to manage competing demands.
  • Structured and disciplined in a high accountability environment.
