Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of technology solutions to meet regulatory requirements.
• Elicit and document project and enhancement requirements.
• Define system scope and objectives and validate development, testing, training, and implementation requirements.
• Coordinate with upstream and downstream system owners on data formats and semantic content.
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation.
• Coordinate requirements gathering and testing activities.
• Support implementation strategies and present proposed changes to relevant audiences.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Business Analyst experience within a financial services institution.
• Experience with regulatory projects in Capital Markets.
• Good knowledge of Capital Markets financial products and processes.
• Strong technical and data analytical skills.
• Understanding of IT practices, systems development techniques, requirements specification, and testing methodologies.
• University degree, technical institute certificate, or related work experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Technical skills

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform components including Cloud Composer, Cloud SQL, and DataProc.
• Experience with Hadoop, NoSQL databases including ElasticSearch, and Python.
• Knowledge of the Volcker Rule is considered an advantage.
