Role Overview

Project Deliverables

• Engage in product or service implementation projects from inception through installation.
• Lead requirements and functional design with client business and technical resources.
• Mentor team members, manage implementation requirements, and advocate the product implementation methodology.
• Design and estimate solutions for product gaps and enhancements.
• Track billable time, assist with quality assurance testing when needed, and deliver customer demos and presentations.

Stakeholder and Project Leadership

• Advise stakeholders, gain feedback, and escalate scope changes and customizations.
• Act as the business point person across project management, engineering, product development, and cross-functional teams.
• Identify risks, coach team members on issue resolution, and lead requirements analysis and process-improvement recommendations.

Experience and Qualifications

• At least three years of business analyst experience and three years of P&C insurance experience are required.
• A bachelor's degree or relevant work experience is required.
• Experience with cross-functional teams across geographical locations is required.
• Knowledge of agile software development and iterative development principles is required.
• Understanding of basic insurance concepts, risk management, and stakeholder communication is required.
• Experience managing executive stakeholder expectations is preferred but not required.
• Travel of up to 25% may be required.

Skills

• Strong analytical, verbal, written, and general communication skills are required.
• Strong presentation skills using PowerPoint or Google Slides are required.
• Experience developing relationships with internal teams, customers, and partner organizations is required.

Compensation

• The stated base salary range is CAD 108,000 to CAD 192,000 for the full-time position, with pay dependent on experience, skills, education, training, and location.
