Senior Business Analyst – Azure, Figma, HTML/CSS, JAD, 8+ yrs exp, BA docs, UAT, OPS SDLC, SOA, Communication & Technical Evaluation

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis of client problems and opportunities and document requirements for I&IT solutions.
• Develop strategies, business cases, cost-benefit analyses, feasibility studies, performance measures, and traceability matrices.
• Conduct JAD sessions, interviews, mockups, stakeholder engagement, and requirements validation.
• Perform business, use case, data, process flow, business rules, and non-functional requirements modeling.
• Monitor progress, resolve problems, report status, and negotiate functional and detailed solution design issues.
• Contribute to governance, architecture, operational, SDLC, and information architecture best practices.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to project managers and team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience and Skills

• 8+ years of business analysis experience.
• Experience facilitating JAD sessions and creating detailed business analysis documents, user stories, and business cases.
• Demonstrated user acceptance testing experience.
• Experience with Azure cloud technologies, Figma, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of courts case management system capabilities and experience in large IT organizations is required by the stated criteria.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with Agile, waterfall, iterative Agile, product delivery, OPS processes, standards, and artifacts.
• Ability to translate business and data requirements into specifications suitable for technology solution design.

Technical and Methodology Skills

• Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture and formal waterfall, iterative, or Agile SDLC methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with business functional modeling, business event modeling, process mapping, data modeling, and CASE tools.
• Awareness of emerging I&IT trends, technologies, information management, accessibility standards, and integration frameworks.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with information retrieval packages and user-centric website or forms design is desirable.
• Previous government or public-sector experience is desirable.

Knowledge Transfer

• Transfer functional and technical specifications, designs, components, process flows, and related documentation through one-to-one meetings, team meetings, and SharePoint.
• Knowledge transfer occurs throughout the project lifecycle to project managers and team members.
