About the Role
AGF Management Limited is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 12-month contract to join the Solutions and Information Delivery team. The role involves requirements analysis, business design, testing, and implementation for business and technology projects.

Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to understand current state processes and identify optimal future state processes
- Document detailed user requirements and define functional capabilities of systems to be delivered
- Assist with formulation and definition of scope and objectives based on user needs and understanding of business systems and technology
- Create functional specifications for development teams and vendors, including data mapping
- Identify and work with vendors in the context of RFPs and RFIs
- Provide direction in the use of technology to optimize business workflow
- Participate in design reviews to ensure technical design complies with user requirements
- Develop test plans and training plans in conjunction with QA and Training leads
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of progressive business experience as a BA or BSA within a project environment, with 2 years at Senior BA level
- Financial Services industry experience, specifically within Investment or Asset Management business
- Experience with systems supporting Investment Management such as Trade Order Management, Market Data, and Fund/Investment Accounting systems
- Thorough understanding of security types, including derivatives, and associated data
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficient documentation skills
- Good knowledge of BA best practices including requirements elicitation, use cases, process flows, functional specifications, and data mapping
- University level undergraduate degree
- Experience with Bloomberg and Eagle PACE is an asset

About the Role
- We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Solutions and Information Delivery team in Operations.
- The Senior BA is responsible for obtaining industry and company knowledge and applying it to the initiation and delivery of solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Working with business stakeholders to understand current state processes and identify optimal future state processes.
- Documenting detailed user requirements and defining functional capabilities of systems.
- Assisting with formulation and definition of scope and objectives.
- Functional specifications for development teams and vendors, including data mapping.
- Identifying and working with vendors where required in RFPs and RFIs.

Your Qualifications

Compensation
- The anticipated compensation range for this role is CAD 90,000 100,000 annually, which represents base salary and variable compensation components.
