Role Overview
Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer or Assistant Principal Bridge Engineer for its Bridges and Civil Structures team.
The role supports bridge and civil structures projects ranging from bespoke commissions to major UK and international infrastructure projects.
The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration, technical guidance, client communication, and project delivery support.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned projects against quality standards, agreed timescales, and budgeted hours.
- Apply company quality procedures, industry standards, health and safety requirements, and Safe by Design principles.
- Deliver bridge design, assessment, strengthening, repair, rehabilitation, and replacement work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Prepare and check reports, specifications, drawings, calculations, construction documentation, risk documentation, and health and safety files.
- Provide technical mentoring, supervision, and development support to junior staff and designated direct reports.
