Xbattery is seeking a Senior BMS Firmware Developer with strong embedded firmware development and battery management system experience.

The role requires hands-on experience with low-voltage and high-voltage battery management systems and ownership of firmware development.

The successful candidate will guide the firmware team and work across product development and validation.

Develop and maintain embedded firmware for low-voltage and high-voltage battery management systems.
Design and implement BMS protection and control algorithms.
Work on state of charge, state of health, cell balancing, electrical monitoring, and fault management.
Develop firmware using Embedded C and C++.
Work with CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, GPIO, timers, and interrupts.
Develop and maintain bootloader and firmware upgrade mechanisms.
Use RTOS or FreeRTOS to develop reliable, non-blocking embedded software.
Debug firmware and system-level issues using CAN tools, JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and firmware validation.
Analyze field and customer issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions.
Own assigned firmware modules from requirements through release.
