Senior Bim And Cad Modeler - Structure

• **100% (m/f)**
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing accurate BIM/CAD models and drawings for bridges, viaducts, underpasses, retaining structures, tunnels, or similar transportation and infrastructure works.
• Experience in the Middle East region, along with familiarity with local authority requirements and project delivery standards, will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed structural BIM/CAD models for civil infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project standards.
• Prepare high-quality structural and shop drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, reinforcement details, general arrangement drawings, and construction details.
• Support modelling and drafting for structural components such as bridges, viaducts, retaining walls, culverts, foundations, tunnels, and related civil structures.
• Coordinate structural models and drawings with alignment, road, rail, utilities, MEP, architecture, and other interfacing disciplines.
• Interpret design sketches, engineer mark-ups, specifications, and project requirements, and translate them into coordinated drawings and BIM models.
• Perform clash checks, model reviews, and drawing quality checks to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with project deliverables.
• Ensure all models and drawings are prepared in line with project BIM standards, CAD standards, naming conventions, layering systems, and document control procedures.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, BIM coordinators, and project teams to meet project deadlines and submission requirements.
• Mentor junior modellers/drafters and conduct internal training where required, supporting quality improvement across the drafting and modelling team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Structural BIM/CAD modelling, detailing, and drawing production.
• Strong understanding of structural components, construction methodology, reinforcement detailing,
• prestressed/post-tensioned tendon detailing
• , and Bar Bending schedules .
• Proven experience in preparing
• shop drawings, as-built drawings
• , and coordinated BIM models
• Strong experience in linear infrastructure projects, including roads, rail, metro, highways, bridges, tunnels, or similar large-scale civil works.
• Proven experience in preparing structural drawings, shop drawings, and coordinated BIM models.
• Strong understanding of structural components, construction methodology, reinforcement detailing, and drawing standards.
• *Required software:*
• AutoCAD, Revit + Dynamo, Navis workshop and Arma CAD.
• Working knowledge of common data environments and document control platforms ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Ability to read and interpret structural design drawings, alignment drawings, specifications, and engineering mark-ups.
• Good coordination skills with the ability to work across multiple disciplines and project teams.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows, clash detection, and model coordination.
• Middle East project experience will be preferred.
