Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high quality coffees and hot beverages in accordance with established standards
- Create and prepare fresh juices, smoothies, iced beverages, mocktails, and specialty drinks
- Develop and maintain a selection of signature beverages inspired by Japanese flavours and traditions
- Research, design and test innovative recipes using premium ingredients and seasonal products
- Demonstrate knowledge of Japanese teas, including their origins, characteristics and preparation methods
- Incorporate Japanese ingredients and techniques into sophisticated beverage creations
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and portion control for all beverages
- Maintain beverage recipes, preparation guidelines and costing records
- Monitor stock levels and communicate purchasing requirements for beverage ingredients
- Ensure cleanliness, organisation and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
