Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Barista role located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
As a Senior Barista, you will oversee daily operations within the coffee bar, including preparation of high-quality beverages, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
You will train and mentor junior baristas, manage inventory, and uphold health and safety standards.
The role requires contributing to a welcoming and engaging atmosphere while delivering exceptional service to customers.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, and knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage and create a positive experience for diverse customers.
- Leadership and mentoring experience to guide a team of baristas and support staff effectively.
- Organizational skills in managing supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring workstations are ready for operations.
- Attention to detail, ensuring drinks meet company quality standards and presentation guidelines.
- Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced environments, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
- Food safety training or certifications (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior-level barista role is desirable.
