Nas.com is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to support and scale backend systems for a fast-growing creator platform. The role involves backend feature development, system architecture improvement, infrastructure and DevOps, monitoring, and off-hours support.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers to design and implement new backend features
- Continuously improve system architecture for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Enhance and maintain infrastructure (AWS cloud services) and CI/CD pipelines
- Establish and fine tune monitoring, logging, and alerting across all platforms
- Serve as point person for troubleshooting backend system issues during off peak hours
- Uphold high code quality standards through code reviews, testing, and documentation
Requirements
- 4+ years in backend development or systems engineering roles
- Hands on experience with Node.js or Python for building APIs and services
- Solid experience with databases (MongoDB or other NoSQL/SQL) and caching systems like Redis
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.)
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana/Prometheus)
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote, asynchronous environment
- Strong debugging and problem solving abilities
