Join one of our clients, a global leader in the technology industry, as a Backend Engineer working on a contract basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and building robust, scalable backend systems powering innovative digital products.
You will collaborate with top-tier engineers in a dynamic, expert environment while driving forward the core technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that meet demanding performance requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical specifications and impactful backend solutions.
- Optimize backend systems for reliability, security, and efficiency, ensuring seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, adhering to best engineering practices.
- Participate actively in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in backend development, specifically in languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization using Docker.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure, including AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
