About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role combining backend engineering, technical ownership, and team leadership.
The team owns payment flows, external provider integrations, transaction reliability, and operational efficiency.
The role focuses on simplifying complex systems, improving reliability, driving architecture, and scaling the platform and team.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Python 3.11 using Django and Django REST Framework.
- Lead technical initiatives across payments infrastructure and integrations.
- Improve reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
- Work with Product, Operations, Compliance, and external partners.
- Investigate production issues, improve legacy systems, and reduce technical debt.
- Lead architecture and technical decisions.
- Mentor engineers through reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
