Role Overview
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll build the core services that power Verda's cloud platform.
From customer-facing APIs to resource provisioning, identity management, billing, and analytics, you'll design and develop the systems that enable customers to consume AI infrastructure at scale. You'll work closely with Platform Engineering, SRE, and Infrastructure teams to build secure, scalable, and reliable backend services that sit at the heart of our platform.
Beyond writing code, you'll help shape architecture, influence engineering practices, and drive technical decisions that improve the platform as it grows.

About the role
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll build the core services that power Verda's cloud platform.
From customer-facing APIs to resource provisioning, identity management, billing, and analytics, you'll design and develop the systems that enable customers to consume AI infrastructure at scale. You'll work closely with Platform Engineering, SRE, and Infrastructure teams to build secure, scalable, and reliable backend services that sit at the heart of our platform.
Beyond writing code, you'll help shape architecture, influence engineering practices, and drive technical decisions that improve the platform as it grows.
Your responsibilities
- You will design, build, and evolve backend services across Verda's cloud platform, working on areas such as resource provisioning, authentication, billing, analytics, and platform APIs.
- You will collaborate closely with Platform Engineering, SRE, and Infrastructure teams to design scalable services and APIs that automate infrastructure management and improve platform reliability.
- You will contribute to system architecture, technical design, and engineering best practices, helping build software that is secure, maintainable, and resilient.
- You will improve deployment workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and development practices that enable fast and reliable software delivery.
