Senior Backend Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field , or equivalent practical experience.

4–6 years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend or platform engineering depth.

Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Java, Perl, GraphQL, REST APIs, Oracle, and jOOQ .

Strong experience in production service development, backend systems, APIs, and integrations .

Experience designing and developing GraphQL schemas, resolvers, data sources, and federated subgraph services .

Experience with healthcare data, FHIR, clinical workflows, or large-scale data integration is strongly preferred.

Practical experience using AI tools or LLM-based workflows for software engineering, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, or operational support.

Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, microservices, event streams, and cloud-native engineering practices .

Strong understanding of backend performance and reliability concepts, including latency, batching, caching, error handling, scalability, and maintainability .

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams .
