ARIES is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own backend systems from architecture through deployment.
The role supports trading platforms and developer products in a modern cloud-native environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale backend infrastructure for trading platforms and developer products.
- Architect and implement backend services in Go.
- Design scalable APIs, data models, and distributed systems.
- Ensure performance, resilience, and fault tolerance in production.
- Collaborate with frontend, product, growth, and infrastructure teams.
- Contribute to systems architecture and lead backend engineering discussions.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Go.
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs.
- Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases and messaging systems.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Docker or Kubernetes.
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Ability to contribute to systems architecture and lead backend engineering discussions.
Nice-to-have qualifications
- Interest in trading, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
- Experience with low-latency, high-throughput systems.
- Exposure to open-source contributions or impactful side projects.
