Role Overview
Support a major cloud transformation programme involving migration of business-critical applications and databases from on-premise infrastructure into Microsoft Azure.
Work hands-on across cloud engineering, automation, and technical leadership.
Design and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient Azure environments while contributing to wider infrastructure strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver Azure cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
- Support application and database migrations into Azure.
- Provision infrastructure using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
- Implement Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities, and Key Vault.
- Manage patching, vulnerability remediation, and security baselines.
- Develop automation using PowerShell and Bash.
- Implement monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Optimise cloud performance, cost, and resource utilisation.
- Mentor junior engineers and influence technical direction.
About You
- Strong hands-on Azure experience across IaaS and PaaS is required.
- Expertise in infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform, is required.
