Role overview

Miratech is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer for its Software Quality Engineering team.

The role supports software releases and focuses on the automation test platform for a cloud contact center platform.

The position is remote and involves collaboration across engineering and technical operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Use a custom Python-Selenium automation framework for thorough testing.
  • Create and deploy end-to-end automated test scripts in two internal test environments.
  • Review test, product, and traffic logs to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain and extend the automation framework and develop tools for efficient testing.
  • Coordinate with Development, DevOps, TechOps, and network teams.
  • Report testing progress, develop automation methodologies, and mentor team members.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of proven QA automation experience.
  • Hands-on Python 3 experience, including advanced decorators and core data structures.
  • Understanding of algorithms, object-oriented programming, and multithreading.
  • Experience with REST API automation or SDK interfaces.
  • Linux experience and strong knowledge of software development and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Git, and other project or bug-tracking systems.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

  • AWS or GCP automation framework experience for CI/CD.
  • Cloud computing test automation experience in private or public environments.
  • Practical MySQL experience.
  • Salesforce, ServiceNow, or MS Dynamics configuration experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, reliability, and proactive investigation skills.
