Role Overview
Senior automation testing role focused on enterprise software quality, reliability, performance, and release readiness.
Works with developers, business analysts, product managers, DevOps, and QA teams across the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable automated test frameworks.
- Develop automated tests for web, mobile, desktop, API, and backend applications.
- Create test plans, scenarios, cases, and automation strategies.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
- Perform API testing, database validation, and backend testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and analyze failures and defects.
- Maintain test data, environments, scripts, frameworks, and documentation.
- Improve coverage, reliability, execution speed, and QA efficiency.
- Support performance, stability, scalability, reliability, release, and post-release testing.
- Use defect and testing activity tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Zephyr.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and evaluate new testing technologies.
- Establish testing standards and mentor junior QA and automation testers.
