Responsibilities
- Support world renowned Quantum experts in dispute resolution, litigation support and expert witness evidence
- Perform data research, management and analysis, and assist in drafting sections of expert reports
- Review documentation (e.g. drawings, specifications, reports, estimates, variations, correspondence and financial data) to identify key details and metrics used to develop expert reports
- Assist in analysis or preparation of valuations and the processing and use of big data
- Deal with clients and lawyers and interface as appropriate
- Review documentation to develop robust appendices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in building construction, engineering, quantity surveying or related field
- 3 5 years' experience in quantity surveying, cost engineering, contracts management, or construction management
- Strong software skills: MS Office Suite (especially Word & Excel), CostX / BIM / Buildsoft / Expert Estimation or similar
- Experience in preparation of first principles construction cost estimates
- Familiarity with construction cost management
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and comfortable with large sets of data
- Able to adapt to a dynamic consultancy environment
- Able to develop creative approaches and solutions necessary to resolve complex problems
- Team player
- English language (written and spoken), other languages an advantage
- Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure

About Our Construction Quantum Team

Responsibilities
- We are looking for an ambitious, self motivated, and proactive team player to join our growing team of highly experienced quantity surveying experts, based in our Dubai office.
- The ideal candidate will be a quantity surveying professional with 3 5 years’ experience of working on construction and engineering projects.
- Your primary duties as a Senior Associate will be to provide support to testifying Expert Witnesses, with a long term view of one day becoming a testifying expert in your own right.
Role
