Senior Associate Civil Engineer - Infrastructure

Providing technical leadership across a range of civil engineering projects of varying scale and complexity.

Overseeing the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects from concept through to completion.

Ensuring projects are delivered to a high technical standard, meeting client expectations and company requirements.

Managing technical quality, risk and commercial performance across projects.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor.

Taking ownership of important project relationships and ensuring successful outcomes.

Representing Stantec within the industry and supporting our market presence.

Playing a leading role in winning new work and converting opportunities.

Supporting bids, tenders and client pursuits.

Developing client strategies and contributing to sustainable business growth.

Helping build and maintain a strong pipeline of future opportunities.

Working closely with the leadership team to support business planning and regional growth strategies.

Contributing to sector development and cross-discipline collaboration.

Supporting innovation, best practice and continuous improvement across the business.

In this role, you will:

Lead the delivery of high-profile civil engineering projects across the region and nationally.

Shape the growth and development of our Ashford Civil Engineering team.

Inspire and support engineers through effective leadership, mentoring and coaching.

Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, strengthening Stantec’s market position.

Drive business growth through successful work winning and opportunity development.

Provide technical expertise and strategic insight across complex infrastructure projects.

Champion collaboration across our multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Contribute to the continued success and reputation of Stantec’s Civil Engineering business.

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineering professional with strong technical, commercial and leadership capability who is ready to take on a senior role within a growing consultancy.

You will have:

Significant experience within civil engineering consultancy, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.

Experience operating at Associate Director level or equivalent, with the ability to lead teams and influence business growth.

Strong technical knowledge across civil infrastructure and development projects.

Experience managing multidisciplinary projects from concept through to delivery.

Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Commercial awareness and experience supporting business development, bids and work winning.

Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and developing technical teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

The ability to operate with autonomy, influence decision-making and contribute to strategic direction.

A passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions and developing the next generation of engineering talent.
