Role Overview

Develop high-quality machine learning models, services, and scalable data processing pipelines for the AI engineering team.

Work within the AI for Operations team to build natural language processing systems for customers and internal agents supporting banking operations.

Experiment, develop, and productionize machine learning models, services, and platforms with technology and business impact.

Job Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced natural language processing knowledge and critical thinking to solve complex, multifaceted business problems.
  • Perform advanced analytics to support business problem solving.
  • Contribute to the full product development lifecycle, including defining objectives and key product deliverables.
  • Act as an advanced contributor in system development, computer algorithms, natural language processing, and machine learning.
  • Bring new knowledge, ideas, and perspectives to support the organization's continuous learning mindset.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Undergraduate and master's degrees in Computer Science.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for presenting analytical findings and influencing project stakeholders.
  • At least two years of advanced programming experience using more than one programming language, including master's or industry experience.
  • Ability to learn and program in another programming language quickly.
  • Full understanding and hands-on programming experience with data structures, algorithms, operating systems, compilers, databases, and systems.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Computer Science concentration in natural language processing or search experience.
  • Advanced programming skills with distributed infrastructure, platforms, and computational methods, including distributed machine learning.
  • Training or work experience in natural language processing and search.
  • Experience developing large-scale machine learning solutions using big data, such as classification, regression, or recommender systems.
  • Experience with Spark, Python, Scala, or Java.
