Role Overview
The Senior Asset Manager oversees the performance, lifecycle, utilization, risk, and value of organizational assets.
The role works with senior management, Finance, Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Maintenance, and other stakeholders to optimize asset performance and long-term value.
Asset Strategy and Lifecycle
- Develop and implement asset management strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Oversee acquisition, deployment, maintenance, utilization, optimization, and disposal across the full asset lifecycle.
- Develop asset management plans, policies, procedures, standards, and performance frameworks.
- Support capital planning, asset replacement strategies, acquisition decisions, and long-term investment planning.
Performance and Financial Management
- Monitor asset performance, utilization, condition, lifecycle costs, return on investment, budgets, expenditures, depreciation, and capital requirements.
- Conduct portfolio analysis, financial assessments, lifecycle costing, investment evaluations, and value optimization initiatives.
- Develop asset KPIs, performance dashboards, utilization metrics, lifecycle indicators, management reports, business cases, and executive recommendations.
