Role Overview
HyperSpace is seeking a Senior Art Director for its creative team.

The role includes mentoring junior designers and working under the Chief Creative Officer's direction.
Location
- Candidates from any location will be considered.
- The main team members work in Dubai and Sydney time zones.
About HyperSpace
HyperSpace creates immersive, location-based entertainment experiences combining set design, spatial design, technology integration, and brand narratives.
Its venues combine physical architecture, storytelling, interactive design, projection, LED, and motion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead creative concept development and translate briefs into branded visual directions and pitches.
- Design and art-direct high-impact pitch decks.
- Use generative AI tools such as Midjourney and Higgsfield for rapid concept exploration.
- Develop and maintain brand identity systems across media and applications.
- Art-direct physical sets, installations, and environments with multidisciplinary production teams.
- Create marketing, social, website, campaign, wayfinding, and other digital design assets.
- Manage and mentor junior designers through assignments, feedback, critique, and development.
- Collaborate with architects, experience designers, technologists, producers, and external partners.
- Contribute to studio-level brand strategy and creative direction.
Core Skills and Experience
- At least 7 years of professional design experience with art direction and visual identity expertise.
- Mastery of pitch deck design and persuasive visual communication.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Suite, Figma, or similar tools.
- Experience with generative AI tools for concept rendering and rapid visual exploration.
- A strong portfolio covering brand identity, packaging or product design, environmental or spatial design, or experiential work.
- Ability to create cohesive, scalable brand systems across media.
- Leadership experience mentoring designers or directing collaborative projects.
- Comfort working under clear creative briefs and feedback.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experiential, immersive, or entertainment design experience is advantageous.
- Motion design, animation, or video production experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar 3D tools is advantageous.
- Production design, set design, or film and television art direction experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of marketing and campaign strategy is advantageous.
- Experience adapting visual direction across international markets is advantageous.
