Senior Architect (Saudi National)

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural conceptualization, design development, detailing, and coordination.
• Review designs and coordinate with other disciplines for constructability and compliance.
• Liaise with authorities, secure approvals and NOCs, and incorporate regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and design justifications.
• Supervise and mentor architects and CAD operators.
• Review contractor submissions and shop drawings, and resolve site-related technical issues.
• Prepare staffing estimates and project execution plans.
• Provide an architectural seal and signature when required.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• At least 15 years of postgraduate architectural experience.
• Membership or registration with an internationally recognized architectural body.
• Strong knowledge of architectural principles, practices, codes, standards, and industry regulations.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software and other architectural design applications.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.

Desired Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Architecture or a related discipline.
• Previous rail or metro project experience.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure and transportation projects.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.
