Job Summary
Support the retail Point of Sale system used by The UPS Store locations.
The solution is based on Microsoft Store Commerce, formerly MPOS, and Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
Perform applications development lifecycle activities including analysis, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, and implementation.
Contribute to architecture design, technology planning, project plans, integrations, and ongoing application support.
Responsibilities
- Support regular service updates and merge company-specific and independent software vendor customization extensions.
- Develop Store Commerce extensions for Point of Sale, Commerce Runtime, and Hardware Station, including triggers and handlers.
- Apply Dynamics 365 extensible data security policies and modify the user interface using X++.
- Debug and unit test Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Promote Dynamics 365 models across development, test, and staging environments.
- Support, maintain, and modify existing systems and integrations.
- Collaborate with teams and provide input on project decisions, architecture, planning, and applications development.
