The Senior Application Engineer supports the stability and smooth operation of business-critical applications.
The role uses a hybrid work model with rotational shift support to maintain 24/7 application availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 application support and manage production incidents within SLAs.
- Handle incident, problem, and major incident management activities.
- Perform proactive monitoring, on-call support, and incident escalation.
- Follow ITIL practices for incident, problem, change, and service request management.
- Conduct impact analysis and implement standard production changes.
- Coordinate major incident communications and maintain operational documentation.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring and critical incidents.
- Implement improvement opportunities and automation initiatives.
- Coordinate vendor support tickets and issue resolution.
- Support CI/CD pipeline activities, release management, and deployment automation.
