We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Appian Developer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business process management (BPM) applications using the Appian platform.

This role requires a strong understanding of Appian's capabilities and a solid background in software development as well as a passion for creating efficient and user-friendly solutions.

• Design and Development:
• Design, develop, and deploy applications using the Appian platform and knowledge of all Appian components including process models, Record Types, SAIL interfaces, Database and CDT/Data type development, APIs, reports, and integrations.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into technical specifications.
• Experience developing new Appian applications and establishing initial data structures and security / group membership model
• Utilize Appian's low-code capabilities to rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions.
• Integration and Data Management:
• Integrate Appian applications with external systems using web services (SOAP/REST), JDBC, and other integration methods.
• Experience working with developing or maintaining Appian Plugins.
• Ability to troubleshoot integration and connection challenges between Appian and other external systems.
• Design and implement data models and manage data within Appian to ensure data integrity and security.
• Develop and optimize Appian and SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure the quality and reliability of Appian applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and best practices.
• Maintenance and Support:
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing Appian applications.
