Role Overview
Senior Apigee Developer / API Management Engineer role focused on enterprise-scale API management and integration projects.
The position is onsite in Saudi Arabia and has three openings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and manage Apigee API management solutions.
- Develop secure, scalable, and high-performing APIs.
- Configure Apigee API proxies, policies, products, developer apps, and developer portals.
- Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, API keys, JWT, basic authentication, and related mechanisms.
- Develop and manage API flows, shared flows, policies, and reusable components.
- Monitor APIs, troubleshoot issues, tune performance, and resolve incidents.
- Integrate APIs with backend systems, databases, microservices, and third-party applications.
- Support API lifecycle management, versioning, deployment, and governance.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of hands-on experience in Apigee or API management.
- Strong practical experience with Google Apigee or Apigee X.
- Strong knowledge of API proxies, policies, shared flows, API products, developer apps, and portals.
- Hands-on experience with API security, authentication, and authorization.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, and XML.
- Good understanding of JavaScript, Java, Node.js, or Python is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Technical Skills
- OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, and security policies.
- API monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis.
- Enterprise backend systems, databases, microservices, and third-party integrations.
Compensation
- Pay is stated as SAR 4,385.77–22,156.62 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Saudi Arabia.
