Responsibilities
- Manage end to end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, three way matching, and timely vendor payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOCPA standards, and Zakat/VAT regulations
- Monitor AP aging and cash flow forecasts to support payment planning
- Prepare month end AP schedules, accruals, and reconciliations for management reporting
- Liaise with procurement, warehouse, and store operations teams to resolve invoice or PO discrepancies
- Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and reports
- Drive process improvements and automation within the AP function using ERP systems

- Detail oriented and experienced in accounts payable processes
- Strong expertise in accounts payable processes, financial controls, and vendor management
- Previous experience in the retail industry
- Knowledge of SOCPA standards and Zakat/VAT regulations

Overview
- Aster Pharmacy is looking for a detail oriented and experienced AP Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounts payable processes, financial controls, and vendor management, with previous experience in the retail industry.
