Canva is seeking a Senior Android Engineer for its Mobile Workflows team.
The role focuses on developer tooling, mobile test automation, CI/CD quality gating, and Android workflow reliability.
The Mobile Workflows team supports mobile development tooling, automation testing pipelines, and mobile quality strategy across Canva.
Workplace
- The role is based in Melbourne, with hybrid working that combines remote work and in-person collaboration at the Collingwood campus.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain Android tooling for simulator setup, device orchestration, and CLI developer workflows.
- Develop mobile test automation for synthetic and integration testing on Android.
- Implement CI/CD quality gates with automated regression testing.
- Consolidate fragmented mobile workflows with Native Infra, Cross Platform, and DevX teams.
- Improve mobile testing practices and methodologies across Canva.
- Support company-wide triage and monitoring for mobile development and testing.
- Share knowledge and mentor less experienced engineers.
