Role overview
Senior Android Engineer role within the Product & Technology department, reporting to a Technology Manager.
Design and implement robust architectural patterns and high-performance features used by millions of daily active users.
Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Teams, and platform teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable, and maintainable Android features.
- Drive mobile architecture best practices using MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Maintain high code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor, profile, and optimize battery usage, startup times, and UI rendering.
- Act as a technical authority, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and support knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate across functional boundaries to turn user needs into technical solutions.
Profile and experience
- Professional Android development experience with a proven record of shipping high-quality apps to the Google Play Store.
- Deep knowledge of Kotlin and Android architecture.
- Experience with dependency injection and Jetpack Compose.
