Lead the efficient and effective running of the Business Excellence section.
Research, analyze and implant a culture of business excellence in the organization.
Responsible for development and implementation of business excellence models as per benchmarks.
Assist the company management to create a culture that supports disciplined and systematic process management; data-driven decision making; continuous improvement aligned with established strategy & objectives.
Identify projects and implement improvement initiatives using techniques that results in faster, better, optimal services.
Interact with company leadership team to carry out duties in compliance with all regulations, guidelines, policies and procedures and established Excellence models.
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Develops Excellence Framework and ensures its effective implementation within the organization, carrying out activities that support the implementation of the framework, which are systematically reviewed and assessed for their effectiveness.
- Develops & deploys Business Excellence Standards & Best Practices in all sites in alignment & coordination with site leaders.
- Undertakes and manages the complete life-cycle of business improvement projects and initiatives based on the established Excellence models and principles.
- Coaches, trains and mentors teams in the use of Excellence models, tools and processes; serving as a change agent assisting in solving high level and / or complex problems resulting in performance improvement.
- Supports excellence programs by monitoring process, policies and procedures, to ensure program is aligned with market best practices.
- Trains, coaches and challenges process owners in the use of approaches and techniques to create process management and measurement systems and develop an Excellence mind-set at all levels.
- Plans and executes enterprise-wide continuous improvement initiatives. Assesses Organizations Compliance to the Business Excellence Standards.
- Leads operational excellence concepts and workforce effectiveness concurrent with Business growth.
- Extensive involvement in the management of the company’s Quality/Excellence models and systems.
- Supports projects which are directly related to the improvement of the Quality Management System, in relation to process approach, process review, document management, stakeholders’ satisfaction and other measurement mechanisms.
- Remains up to date with the latest Quality and Business Excellence industry trends.
- Assists in the development of suitable training materials to support the implementation of the Business Excellence & Quality Management system.
- Helps compile and analyse data from stakeholders’ feedback to identify areas of improvement and elaborate practical solutions.
- Compiles and prepares reports, presentations and other documents as instructed.
- Conducts periodical assessments on excellence program initiatives and regular benchmark with local and international peers, collects and comply stakeholders’ feedback regarding processes and policies improvements, promotes awareness about excellence programs and awards, in order to provide recommendations on improvements that ensure compliance with relevant international standards & frameworks and aligned with market best practices.
- Performs other similar or related duties, as assigned, such as conducting studies in the field, carrying out site visits, preparing periodic status reports on business excellence initiatives, etc.
- Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.
Minimum Qualification
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 9 years of experience in the oil and gas business, with a global energy consulting firm or a major Oil & Gas company, of which at least 5 years with Business Excellence and Quality Management, and Performance management & improvement role.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Must be computer literate and fully familiar with commercial software packages.
