The Role

Support the Client Data Operations team in GBM Onboarding with counterparty data reconciliation, regulatory reporting readiness, and client data remediation.

Analyze data across systems and controls to help ensure clients meet applicable regulatory reporting obligations.

Work with reporting regimes and protocols including CanDer, CFTC/Dodd-Frank, SEC/SBSDR, SBS, NI 93-101, Rule 91-507, DTCC, and related ISDA obligations.

What You Will Do

  • Support complex data analysis, problem solving, and project execution.
  • Perform exception management, reconciliations, and counterparty data analysis across systems.
  • Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies and execute client data remediation activities.
  • Prepare regulatory compliance reports and maintain complete, accurate data for downstream reporting.
  • Collaborate with operations, trading desks, and counterparties to resolve exceptions.
  • Maintain effective controls for operational, compliance, AML/ATF, sanctions, and conduct risk.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Finance.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a global financial institution or consulting firm in an operations, business intelligence, transformation, or client analytics function.
  • Demonstrated reporting experience and working knowledge of counterparty data and source application systems.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI or a similar data visualization tool.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and data reconciliation tools such as Excel, SharePoint, and Power Platform.
  • Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting regimes, client data remediation, exception management, or regulatory data quality initiatives is an asset.
  • Data governance or database management experience is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Work in a standard office-based environment on a hybrid basis, as determined by the GBM Onboarding team.
  • Non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
