The role
Support Client Data Operations within GBM Onboarding through counterparty data reconciliation, analysis, reporting, and control.
Lead maintenance and changes to Regulatory Onboarding Portals and support regulatory data extracts, population scoping, and control reporting.
Contribute to data governance, business transformation, process improvement, and regulatory obligations.
Core responsibilities
- Govern client and counterparty data requirements, reference standards, data dictionaries, mappings, lineage, and systems-of-record documentation.
- Analyze large datasets, reconcile records, cleanse data, investigate exceptions, and implement corrective actions.
- Support data models, reporting solutions, Regulatory Onboarding portals, and Good-to-Trade functionality.
- Perform user acceptance testing, regression testing, pre-release validation, and post-change monitoring.
- Improve reporting, reconciliation, regulatory onboarding, and COBRA workflows through automation and optimization.
- Advise business units on data sourcing, data quality, KYC, AML, OTC onboarding, and downstream impacts.
- Support audit, regulatory, compliance, sanctions, and conduct-risk requests with evidence and audit trails.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL, VBA, and business intelligence or reporting tools.
- Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools are relevant reporting technologies.
- Python, Power Query, and Power Platform are assets for automation and process improvement.
- Knowledge of financial markets, financial instruments, and front-, middle-, and back-office workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Strong technical writing skills for requirements, procedures, data definitions, testing, and audit evidence.
Qualifications
- A recognized undergraduate degree is required, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business.
- Knowledge of the operational impact of current and anticipated regulatory changes is required.
Working conditions
- Work in a standard office-based environment or business continuity location as required.
- Non-standard hours are common, and limited global travel may be required.
