About the Role
DataRobot is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to join their pre-sales team in the UAE. The role involves building enterprise-grade MVP agentic AI applications, delivering compelling demos, and acting as a trusted technical advisor to customers.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales Teams to understand customer missions, strategic priorities, and constraints through short discovery sessions
- Map business needs into platform capabilities, tailoring messaging for different personas (CIO, CTO, Chief Data Officer, program leads, technical practitioners)
- Design and implement end to end agentic AI MVPs, including multi agent orchestration, tool use, memory, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and agent observability
- Build intuitive, enterprise grade UIs using React and modern design systems (e.g., shadcn/ui) to communicate agent behavior transparently
- Deliver engaging live demos that tell a clear story: problem → agentic solution → business impact
- Act as a trusted technical advisor across the sales team, supporting Account Executives, Strategic Account Directors, and BDRs
- Support conversations around AI governance, data security, model transparency, and responsible AI practices
- Provide structured feedback on customer needs, procurement hurdles, and architectural gaps to Product, Marketing, and Enablement teams
Requirements
- 6 8+ years of experience in sales engineering, applied AI, hands on technical consulting, customer facing software engineering, or technical product roles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Hands on experience building agentic AI applications using modern LLM frameworks, orchestration patterns, and backend engineering (Python, TypeScript, APIs)
- Experience designing MCP servers, external system integrations, and utilizing AI evaluation/tracing tools
- Proficiency with React and modern frontend tooling to create clean, trustworthy user interfaces
- Excellent communication and demo skills; ability to present complex AI concepts clearly
- Ability to travel up to 25% on average to customer meetings, workshops, industry conferences, and events

- The Pre Sales Senior AI Solutions Engineer plays a pivotal role in helping enterprise customers see, feel, and believe in the value of agentic AI and ML platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales Teams: Understand customer missions, strategic priorities, and constraints through short discovery sessions.
- Map Capabilities: Translate business needs into platform capabilities, tailoring messaging for different personas (CIO, CTO, Chief Data Officer, program leads, technical practitioners).
- Identify Value: Pinpoint high leverage automation and decision points where agentic AI can create immediate, visible value.
- Rapid MVP Build: Design and implement end to end agentic AI MVPs, including multi agent orchestration, tool use, memory, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and agent observability.
- Deployment Readiness: Define key technical requirements, recommend deployment models meeting specific security mandates, and advise on data readiness.
- Frontend & UX: Build intuitive, enterprise grade UIs using React and modern design systems (e.g., shadcn/ui) to communicate agent behavior transparently.
- Architectural Soundness: Select and integrate appropriate LLMs, frameworks, and agent architecture to balance speed, cost, and explainability.
- Outcome Oriented Demos: Deliver engaging live demos that tell a clear story: problem → agentic solution → business impact.
- Trusted Advisor: Act as a technical pillar across the sales team, supporting Account Executives, Strategic Account Directors, and BDRs.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Pre Sales & Platform Selling Experience: Demonstrated success supporting sales pursuits with deep technical expertise and solution design.
- Core Technical Skills: Hands on experience building agentic AI applications using modern LLM frameworks, orchestration patterns, and backend engineering (Python, TypeScript, APIs).
- Experience designing MCP servers, external system integrations, and utilizing AI evaluation/tracing tools.
- Proficiency with React and modern frontend tooling to create clean, trustworthy user interfaces.
- Problem Solving & Communication: Excellent communication and demo skills; ability to present complex AI concepts clearly.
- Exceptional ability to move from ambiguity to clarity quickly.
- Bias toward action and iteration; comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
Education & Experience
- 6 8+ years of experience in sales engineering, applied AI, hands on technical consulting, customer facing software engineering, or technical product roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). An advanced degree in AI/ML is a plus.
- Prior experience applying AI or complex software solutions within the Oil & Gas industry is a strong plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25% on average to customer meetings, workshops, industry conferences, and events.
