Role Overview
Stigasoft is hiring one Senior AI/ML Engineer for a full-time role in Mumbai.
The engineer will specialize in NLP and Transformer architectures and own the ML lifecycle from research through production inference.
The role focuses on deploying language models such as BERT, GPT, and T5 for real-world applications.
Model Development and Optimization
- Research, fine-tune, and deploy Transformer-based models for text generation, summarization, and entity recognition.
- Optimize models for low-latency inference using quantization, distillation, and ONNX Runtime.
- Architect inference pipelines targeting throughput of more than 10K requests per second with Triton, vLLM, or TensorRT.
- Implement distributed training across GPU clusters using PyTorch FSDP or Horovod.
- Implement multi-GPU and multi-node model serving with Kubernetes, Knative, and autoscaling.
- Develop hybrid cloud strategies combining on-premises GPU clusters with cloud bursting.
ML Pipeline and Infrastructure
- Architect scalable ML pipelines that include feature stores, model registries, and CI/CD using MLflow, Kubeflow, or TFX.
- Containerize models with Docker and orchestrate high-availability deployments through Kubernetes.
