Senior AI Machine Learning Engineer

Collaboration and mentorship

• Mentor machine learning engineers and applied scientists through guidance and review.
• Collaborate with research, data, and product stakeholders to drive delivery and impact.

Required qualifications

• PhD or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, with substantial applied experience.
• At least 5 years of experience building and delivering machine learning systems end to end.
• Strong hands-on experience with PyTorch and PyTorch Geometric and/or Deep Graph Library.
• Experience designing and developing distributed systems and scalable machine learning infrastructure.
• Advanced Python proficiency and strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex machine learning projects from design through production.
• Experience scaling machine learning systems in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience building foundation models for structured, relational, or graph data.
• Familiarity with transformer architectures for graph and tabular domains.
• Experience with distributed training frameworks such as FSDP, DeepSpeed, or Ray.
• Deep expertise in graph representation learning, structured or relational modeling, and large-scale training systems.
• Publications in top-tier machine learning venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, or KDD.

Compensation range

• The targeted annualized compensation range is stated as 108,100 to 222,800, with the source presenting conflicting CAD and USD currency labels.
• The range includes base salary and variable incentive target, with the actual offer dependent on education, skills, experience, scope, and location.
